Climate Change Doubters

On the first weekend of March, hundreds of people attended a conference on climate change in New York City. What made this conference different from, well, just about every other climate change conference held around the world? This conference called into question the idea that climate change is man-made.
Host Mike Tidwell speaks to James Taylor, the organizer of the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change. Taylor is also a senior fellow at The Heartland Institute, a non-profit group based in Chicago that has been funded by ExxonMobile. Joining them to give his first-hand account of attending the conference is Kevin Grandia, the author of the website DeSmogBlog.
John McCain is the presumptive Republican nominee for president and his rise upsets the many conservatives in America who disagree that climate change is man-made. But is McCain truly good for the climate? Earthbeat contributor Joe Romm discusses McCain's climate record. Romm is the author of the book "Hell and High Water" and of the website Climate Progress.
